The velvet fashion trend is a look that seems to be taking over as we see more and more pieces begin to be created using the luxurious material. Shoes, dresses, tops, scarves, bags and blazers have all been seen crafted from the sumptuous clothing fabric. It is a trend that does tend to exude a certain air of sophistication and aristocracy, as some of us are more used to seeing the material on the backs of people such as lords, ladies and royalty. Lately however we have been witnessing the look on catwalks, in designer collections and the fashion stores of our local high streets.
